Tiles AI, Inc. (“Tiles,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at www.tiles.ai and any related pages that link to this policy (collectively, the “Site”), how we use and disclose that information, and the choices and rights available to you.

1. SCOPE

1.1 What This Policy Covers. This policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site and through related marketing and communications, such as our waitlist, newsletter, demo requests, and email correspondence. “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to an individual.

1.2 What This Policy Does Not Cover. This policy does not apply to information that our customers submit to or process through Tiles’ software platform and hosted services (the “Services”). We process that information on our customers’ behalf under our agreements with them, and each customer’s own privacy notice describes its practices. Questions about information processed through the Services should be directed to the relevant customer.

1.3 Terms of Use. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Website Terms of Use.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

2.1 Information You Provide. When you join our waitlist, subscribe to our newsletter, request a demo, apply for a job, or contact us, we collect the information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, company, job title, and the contents of your message.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically. When you visit the Site or open our emails, we and our analytics providers automatically collect certain information about your device and activity, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, the dates and times of your visits, and approximate location (such as city, region, or country) inferred from your IP address.

2.3 Information from Other Sources. We may receive information about you from our service providers and from publicly available sources, such as company websites and professional networking sites, and combine it with the information we collect directly.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use personal information to:

• operate, maintain, and secure the Site;
• manage our waitlist and newsletter and respond to your inquiries and demo requests;
• send you updates and marketing communications about Tiles, subject to your choices;
• understand how visitors use the Site and improve the Site, our marketing, and the Services;
• evaluate job applicants;
• detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• carry out any other purpose we describe when we collect the information or for which you give consent.

We may also create aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you. We will maintain such information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except as permitted by law.

4. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

4.1 Our Use of Cookies. We and our analytics providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences, and measure how the Site and our emails are used. Currently, these technologies are either strictly necessary for the Site to function or used for analytics.

4.2 No Targeted Advertising. We do not currently use cookies or similar technologies for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising. If that changes, we will update this policy and offer any choices required by law.

4.3 Your Cookie Choices. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings, although some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

4.4 Browser Signals. The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising, Global Privacy Control signals do not change how we process your information.

5. HOW WE DISCLOSE INFORMATION

We disclose personal information only as described below:

• Service providers. Vendors that perform services for us, such as website hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, and security. They are contractually limited to using personal information to provide services to us.
• Professional advisers. Our lawyers, accountants, auditors, and other advisers, in the course of the services they provide to us.
• Legal and safety. Government authorities, courts, or other parties, when we believe disclosure is required by law or legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tiles, our users, or others.
• Corporate transactions. A buyer, successor, or other party in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, including during due diligence.
• With your consent. Other parties when you direct or permit us to do so.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age.

6. RETENTION

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. For example, we keep waitlist and newsletter information until you unsubscribe or we no longer need it, and we keep analytics data for the period set by our analytics configuration. We may keep information longer when required by law or needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or de-identify it.

7. SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information. 8. YOUR CHOICES

8.1 Marketing Emails. You may stop receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of those emails or by contacting us at hello@tileshq.com

8.2 Cookies. You may manage cookies as described in Section 4.3.

8.3 Updating Your Information. You may ask us to update or correct the information you have given us by contacting us at hello@tileshq.com

9. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS

9.1 Your Rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law), and subject to the thresholds and exceptions in those laws, you may have the right to: (a) know what personal information we have collected about you and access a copy of it; (b) correct inaccurate personal information; (c) delete your personal information; (d) receive your personal information in a portable format; and (e) opt out of the sale of your personal information, its use for targeted advertising, and certain profiling. As described above, we do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

9.2 California Disclosures. During the past 12 months, we collected the categories of personal information listed in the table in Section 2, from the sources described in that Section, for the purposes described in Section 3, and disclosed each category for business purposes to the recipients listed in that table. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit its use under California law. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

9.3 Making a Request. To make a request, email us at hello@tileshq.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide with the information we hold, and we may ask you for more information to do so. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf if you give the agent signed, written permission and verify your identity with us directly. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9.4 Appeals. If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal in writing within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact the attorney general of your state.

10. EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, UNITED KINGDOM, AND SWITZERLAND

10.1 Controller. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Tiles AI, Inc. is the controller of personal information collected through the Site, and the terms in this Section supplement the rest of this policy.

10.2 Legal Bases. We rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

• Your request. To add you to our waitlist, send you a newsletter you subscribed to, or respond to your inquiry or demo request, because the processing is necessary to take steps at your request.
• Legitimate interests. To operate, secure, and analyze the Site, improve our offerings, and send relevant business communications to professional contacts, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
• Consent. To place non-essential cookies and send marketing communications where consent is required. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
• Legal obligation. To comply with laws that apply to us.

10.3 Your Rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; ask us to restrict its processing; object to its processing, including at any time to processing for direct marketing; and request a copy of it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live or work, including the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner in Switzerland, although we would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

10.4 International Transfers. Tiles is based in the United States, and we and our service providers process personal information in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on an adequacy decision where one is available or on standard contractual clauses approved for that purpose (including the UK and Swiss versions or addenda), or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may request more information about these safeguards by contacting us.

11. CHILDREN

The Site is intended for business and professional audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. 12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site and change the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a prominent notice on the Site or an email, where appropriate.
